State AG - Litigation Support

PROBLEM:  A prominent State Attorney General’s office was involved in a major litigation and needed a single site to host case documents that could be reviewed by collaborating entities in the government’s case. Key requirements included security and remote accessibility for both hard copy and electronic documents.

SOLUTION:  TechLaw Solutions designed an innovative platform to serve both the State Attorney General’s office and its collaborating state and federal partners. This comprehensive solution included imaging and coding of hard copy documents, and hosting of electronic and hard copy discovery materials in a secure online repository that could be accessed from multiple locations. The repository permitted native file review, traditional document hosting, near duplicate document review, and concept searching capability.

Museum - Archive Conversion Support

PROBLEM:  A government museum needed to create an electronic construction archive of its paper as-built drawings and specifications for use in an electronic document management system.

SOLUTION:  Working hand-in-hand with the museum staff on site at client repositories and at its Chantilly, VA facility, TechLaw Solutions provided specialized archival and digitization services for several million pages of hard copy documents. Archival materials included large volumes of paper, vintage aperture cards, and oversized blueprints and drawings, many of which were available only in paper form to museum staff. Converted documents were delivered in PDF and / or JPG format, depending on the type of archival information captured. In addition, TechLaw Solutions created searchable indices for each collection, which reside in the new electronic document management system.
